Silica Safety in Industrial & Construction Environments
Find Out More
Featuring three scenarios in which workers make unsafe choices, this program shows how each worker mistakenly believed that they were "in control" of their actions. As each scenario unfolds, however, the viewer learns that each worker had inadvertently given up control of his or her own safety to issues such as time, emotions and the influence of other people.
The program teaches that responsible workers do not give up control of their safety to distracting influences. After showing the negative outcomes of these unsafe choices related to ladders, driving and lockout, the program shows how the incidents could have been prevented had the workers taken a moment to stop, think and then choose to work safely. After viewing this program, your workers will understand that being responsible means always staying in control of your safety.
